Cleaning your Countertops

Remove all appliances and cutting boards from the countertop before cleaning.

E

Use a mild dish washing detergent as your solution of choice when cleaning countertops.

Rinse the countertops with water to remove soap residue.

Do not use abrasive cleansers, as they can scratch the countertops. You can use the abrasive side of a sponge for stuck-on dirt. The edge of a credit card also works nicely. A toothbrush works well for corner areas.

For heavy cleaning, use a pH balanced cleanser and a soft bristled brush. Don’t forget the lip of the countertop and the back splash.

Wipe down the bottoms of your appliances before placing them back on the countertops.

Dry countertops with a clean terry cloth or air dry them.
